We are incredibly honoured to receive not one, but two prestigious European awards recently: the Innovation Champion Award and the EIC Fund Award.

On September 22nd, CFO Marieke van der Lans accepted these awards on behalf of the Leyden Labs team at TechEU Summit 2026 in Luxembourg, organized by the European Investment Bank Group in partnership with the European Commission. This recognition reflects our team's dedication to developing a new class of nasal sprays, our Mucosal Protection Products, to protect society from airborne viruses.

We are proud to be part of Europe’s innovation ecosystem and grateful for the support of the European Investment Bank and European Investment Fund. This meeting highlighted the importance of accelerating innovation, supporting the scale-up of promising companies, and strengthening Europe’s funding landscape to build the economy of the future. These awards are not only a recognition of what we have achieved so far, but also an encouragement to continue pushing the boundaries of science and innovation.
